Nylog Blue

Part Number: RT201B

Nylog Blue is a viscoelastic fluid made from synthetic refrigeration grade compressor oil. Nylog Blue is fully miscible and compatible with all system refrigerants and oils.  Gaskets coated with Nylog will never dry or become heat fixed to the surface. Threaded connections coated with Nylog will block high pressure leaks by forming a hydraulic seal. The compound always remains temperature and vibration resilient. Nylog can be used as a high tack assembly lube when installing shaft seals, O-rings, Schrader valves, ball valves, unloaders or other internal system components.

  1. Turn off or disconnect all power
  2. Apply Nylog to gaskets, threads, or use as an assembly lube
  3. Tighten connections
  4. All Done!

Nylog Blue and Nylog Red are both gasket and thread sealants. Nylog Blue has a synthetic ester oil base and is applied to HFC systems in the HVACR industry. Nylog Red has a mineral oil base and is suitable for application on CFC or HCFC systems.

Nylog is both a lubricant and a sealant. Nylog is the only fully compatible and completely miscible sealant in this industry. It cannot contaminate, clog or cause any system restrictions. It is the only sealant that can be used on any gasket or threaded connection and remain system safe. Nylog is guaranteed to never harden or dry and requires no setup time. It remains a viscoelastic refrigeration oil for life.

  • If you wanted only one Nylog bottle in your kit, the most universally suitable is Nylog Blue. Being POE based, it is compatible with all refrigerants and oils.

  • Nylog is approved for use only on refrigeration and air conditioning systems – nothing else. Do not use on oxygen gas, water or natural gas lines.

  • The chemical formulations of Nylog are a closely guarded secret, so there’s little else to say, except that it works. The global market can’t be wrong.

  • Nylog is OEM approved by multiple HVACR system manufacturers.
