It has always been SuperCool’s aim to provide advanced and innovative HVAC&R solutions to the industry.
To support this goal, we’ve been on a journey of developing the SuperTest arm of our business to deliver the most rigorous, detailed, scientifically sound testing and validation of equipment and vehicles.
After much hard work by our team to build and calibrate a world-class testing centre, we’re proud to announce that SuperTest is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 as a test laboratory for ISO 23953-2 refrigerated display cabinet testing.
What is ISO/IEC 17025?This international standard specifies requirements for quality and competence in testing and calibration laboratories. The standard requires that labs prioritise excellent quality practices and have a strong quality management system to establish and maintain their competence. ✅ Globally recognised data and consistency in processes, procedures, and project management ✅ Strict record-keeping and management provide a single source of truth and good traceability ✅ Risks are proactively managed, reducing potential negative impacts on equipment and services ✅ Ensures accuracy of results and fosters an environment of continuous improvement | Which Tests are Accredited?ISO 23953-2 Refrigerated display cabinets Part 2: Classification, requirements and test conditions. This standard specifies requirements for the construction, characteristics and performance of integral refrigerated display cabinets used in the sale and display of food and beverages. Our scope of accreditation is to perform testing in accordance with ISO 23953-2 for integrated refrigerator display cabinets, specifically to provide determination aligning to the Greenhouse and energy minimum standards (GEMS) 2020. |
Our NATA Accreditation demonstrates that the SuperTest testing laboratory meets or exceeds minimum standards in the production, delivery, management and operation of our conformity testing services.
Head of Engineering, Amir Jahangiri, says that whilst SuperTest has always been rigorously process-driven, this accreditation provides an additional layer of assurance to customers.
“This accreditation instils confidence in our customers by establishing a structured and dependable framework for the quality of our results when testing refrigerated display cabinets,” says Amir.
“It ensures traceability, comparability, and validity in every part of the process. SuperTest’s NATA accreditation also holds international recognition through ILAC and the APAC MRA, further underscoring our capability to execute specific technical and scientific activities.”
SuperTest’s Business Manager, Rene Le Miere, explains that an independent endorsement by NATA means customers can place complete trust in the outcome of their testing.
“Whilst bespoke testing is not specifically accredited, the fact that SuperTest has achieved accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 gives weight to the overall legitimacy and professionalism of our facility, no matter what type of testing we carry out.”
“For our customers, this offers a host of advantages: enhanced efficiency and validity in our processes, precision in our measurements, technical proficiency, impartiality and quality,” says Rene.
These elements are meaningful on their own, however they also give customers additional peace of mind that their test results can be relied upon when making critical commercial decisions.
“The official scope of our accreditation is to perform testing in accordance with ISO 23953-2 for integrated refrigerator display cabinets, specifically to provide determination aligning to the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (GEMS) 2020.
This service joins our growing range of other testing services including thermal testing, energy efficiency testing, equipment performance tests and validation of prototypes,” adds Rene.
