In June, the SuperCool team dedicated a day to staff development as part of our ongoing investment in our people. We took time to align our goals and aspirations, strengthen our commitment to the amazing customer service we’re known for, and inspire each other to do meaningful work that makes a real difference.
A highlight of our team day was partnering with the incredible folks at Warm Hearts, Warm Bellies: The Street Ministry. Together, we cooked up a mountain of meals for community members facing food insecurity. We had a fantastic time in the kitchen and hope everyone enjoyed the hearty curries on a chilly winter’s night.
Community support comes naturally to SuperCool, and while we’re already making an impact through our daily HVAC&R industry advocacy and individual projects, we’ve identified an opportunity to do even more for our local community and people in need.
By combining our community focus with our HVAC&R industry expertise and connections, we’ve been able to make a real difference for charities like Warm Hearts Warm Bellies. We’ve sourced fridges and pallet racking for their operations, plus secured financial support through generous donations from our major customers. This project has become an exciting and rewarding extension of our everyday business… and we’re just getting started! We’re currently working to source a refrigerated truck and arrange electrical upgrades for the Warm Hearts Warm Bellies warehouse, with more initiatives in the pipeline.
